Where is the festival located?
The event is held in beautiful Stowe, Vermont, at the Mayo Fields in the center of town.
Are tickets required for entry?
Yes, tickets are required. They may be purchased here.
What activities are available for families?
Families can enjoy hot air balloon launches, live entertainment, delicious food vendors, and plenty of kid-friendly activities.
Are balloon launches guaranteed at certain times?
We have 5 scheduled launches: on Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening, and Sunday morning and evening. All launches are weather dependent, and may be adjusted or canceled due to winds, rain, or other effects.
What is the refund policy for the Stowe Balloon Festival?
Festival admission tickets are non-refundable. The festival itself is held rain or shine. Even if weather conditions do not permit balloons to inflate or fly, admission tickets are non-refundable.
Untethered balloon ride tickets are fully refundable in the event that weather conditions do not allow the balloons to fly. Tickets are purchased in advance.
Tethered balloon rides are non-refundable. Tickets are sold at the festival, directly prior to the ascension.
